Complete and intuitive circuit board design application.
Electricians and students that have electronics among the subjects they have to study will surely know how complicated it is to
properly design a circuit on a PCB. Despite this used to be done with paper and pencil, nowadays it is better to use programs like
Proteus.
Thanks to
Proteus you don't have to worry about the maximum and minimum distances, the
pins of the
integrated circuits or the size that each component once it is assembled because the software includes the sector's standardized measurements and sizes.
Proteus is really divided into two programs,
ISIS and
ARES. ISIS is
real circuit generator, that can be tested, so that we will be able to check if a design that we want to implement on a PCB works properly. Once checked and tested with the tools it includes, ARES will start transforming the virtual design to something that we can implement with all the components of its database properly identified.
Proteus includes a function to
generate copper layers automatically by simply indicating how they are connected, even though we will probably have to revise some details because this kind of automatism isn't always totally valid.
You will no longer have an excuse not to generate your own printed circuit boards, thanks to
Proteus.
Note: The
trial version has some functions limited.
